Naiwen Chou
(Taiwanese, b. 1994. Lives and works in Zurich)
Naiwen’s artistic practice spans various medium including sculpture, installation art, and performance art.Taking inspiration from her experience as a legal alien, she uses her art to question conventional notions of space and societal roles and encourage discussions about navigating identity in an ever-changing world.
Naiwen is currently completing her MA in Fine Art at Zürcher Hochschüle der Kunst (ZHdK) Zurich and hold BA in Fine Art from Tama Art University in Tokyo.
Two of Naiwen’s recent works are shown with her Evergreen Bonsai sculptures in Another Paradise, a pop up exhibition at Atelier Peter Nitz. Vernissage on Friday, 16 February 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m.
